Crafty mum

Hello there,
I will also like to share ideas on cake decorating and crocheting . Even with my very busy life, i still find time to do these hobbies. Last week, I decided to combine my love for crocheting with jewelry making. I have made some earrings and i hope to put their pictures on this blog.

My Journey to natural hair

Hi Guys,
My name is Pam and I am new to blogging. So please forgive me if i make mistakes. The reason I started this blog is that a lot of black women have encouraged me to do so. Years back, I decided to stop relaxing my hair after my hair was so damaged from the harsh relaxers I was using. It was tough because I was tempted every time i have to do my hair to relax it again. The convenience of  the relaxed hair ( sigh!). The good news is that I never gave up. I am proud to say that i have not relaxed my hair in 7 years.

It was so difficult. My hair was badly damage and i didn't have a clue how to maintain natural hair. I struggled until i discovered a lot of secrets about natural products that will make your hair soft, shinny and healthy.

I am hoping to share some of my secrets with you. If you are thinking of going natural, do not hesitate. People say you can't do a lot with natural hair. That is a LIE. The possibilities of what you can do with your hair is endless. You can still have a weave if you fancy one. If your hair is badly damage like mine was, you can invest in  good wigs during this transition period. Some people recommend braids during this time but my hair breaks easily with braids. However, wigs with very sharp combs can damage your hair. When i used those wigs then, i never put the combs in my hair . Some ladies inspired  me. For example,    +BeautifulBrwnBabyDol. Please check her on youtube.

I hope to come back with more ideas and advice later.

See you soon
